Another SLS food meetup..
Japanese food buffet at Mirama Hotel last week... (this post is slightly late..lol)

food was as good as i expected & i wasn't in much of a mood to gorge myself silly with the gers dat nite...
got persuaded to go anyway.. so i went...

lousy tiny wheeny portions.... the only best part was probably the salmon head that was complimentary.. it was soft and nice... and the rest of the gers were like gg "eeeww" over dat head... it is JUST a fish!

meow was happy with it too... but abiet more than i do... hahaha
i ate only the meaty part... she.. ate like the cheeks, jaw, eyes.. etc...

Dislike the soup in teapot thingy.. like EEEWWWW...... too fishy for my liking..

conclusion: STILL PREFER Pan-Pacific's jap resturant!

and the guy who recommended the new dish to us came to us like 3 times to ask abt the new dish and "promote" about his new dish to us..
and Irene commented coz we are chio.. dats y he keep coming to our table... omg.. this woman... *laughs*

bought her another additonal pressie ontop of her wristlet and lunch treat.

Finally caught ratatouille with ah meow (becky) & alex @vivo city.. gosh~ it was really funny.... kept laughing and all... the expressions on remy was goood i tell ya....
might get a the dvd version when it's out i guess.. for collection!

tried a new cafe, White Dog Cafe... good food~ the potion may seem a tad too little, but somehow it filled us up! ah meow and i shared the mushroom soup ..and it was just the way we like it~! chunkfully good with mushroom bits!
i had the lamb chops. Loved it~
the other 2 had pasta... and it was pretty good.. esp the part where ah meow ate her squid ink pasta.. hahahaaha...
the price is slighltly higher than normal cafe food..but it was pretty much worth it.

decided to take on mahjong after dinner at alex's place... coz Joshua & Eric met us after our dinner..... and Jos wanted to mahjong.. so wat the heck... =)
started off ard 12ish to 1am? played till 4ish or sorts... lose lesser this time! less than $10! whooppee! stupid joshua... he's like the big winner.... am so gonna smack him with a mahjong tile.. was a faster session this time round...

went for prata breakfast at thomson..

(hahahahahhahaaa...) it just makes it worse when u realized u skipped a point and panics or something... i believe if u understand wat u're gg to say/ present.. den it shldn't be a problem at all...
maybe it's just me... am just used to talking and bluffing my way thru presentations??

had to take a few shots for the persentation as well. some head shots.. i had 2 shots.. i tink i look good in my new hair... hahahaha..

been meeting up alot of people and setting appts these pass 2 weeks..
and sleeping alot...

wierd, i seem to get tired easily these few nights after i came back from my trip.. like i use to be able to stay awke till 3-4am .. but by 1-2am .. am ghost...
On the same week i came back, on the following saturday... i slept from 6am in da morning to 9pm at night.. got up to watch a few channels, fell asleep again at 12ish am... till next sunday 3ish pm..
didn't know i was thAt tired! .. have been busying clearing up aftermath war debris at work... the battlefield has been very messy on my side.

my luggage is still on my floor.. half of my new stuffs are still in it...been procastinating to get all my new clothes washed and hang up... *laughs*

I happen to look up into the sky today... and i missed the blue shade of USA's.
it's really a big difference in the blues... the blue there seems so refreshing and pretty...like alantic blue but lighter ~
Sg's one bright and in a lighter shade.. like baby blue~
i miss the life i had for d week i was there... slow... big spaces... everyone's friendly... the shopping.... the cars... the air... the boy...

it makes me have the urge to just stop everything here and be there to enjoy and slow down my pace of life...

omg... am like aching .... mostly in my back areas...
bending down getting up..
carrying 5 large trash bags f illed with junks from hidden stowaways in my room.....

Yea u read it right.. 5 BLACK TRASH BAGS worth! the best part? It's only half of the room...
I CAN'T believe it either...... wth did all dis junk came from??????!!!!??!!!
that's the freaking porblem with too much storage space.. u tend to store more=more junk!
all my dad's idea!! gets more cupboards for my room.. more shelves... and to hold the entertainment system.. bought another pigeon hole shelving.. OMG........... the entertainment system wasn't even my idea!!!
which concludes my room = NO MORE nice orange walls to see!! all covered! i'm left with da ceiling and my marbled floor...
*whines* .... to tink i paint the walls myself!....

and it has been non-stop junk everywhere, every corner that i clear out...
to clear one area to hold another .. more junk keeps popping out! It's never ending i tell you!

ahaha.. well, bioss said we could leave early if we have nothing to do.. so yes we did... at the sound of the "beep" from the aircon upstairs..(As CL & me were chatting in msn on why doesn't the man upstairs leave.. and we hear the "beep!!" and we look at each other in glee~!)

Genting KL was ..

quite a blast!
Altho' a tad rush.. and a few events happening..
i had a great time!! This was the break i was looking forward to for a great period of time.. to get away and all...
Gald u gers stuck thru' with me and made the effort to get this trip gg...

Especially Rynna.. who made all da arrangements and research for us... Love u to bits...

Stayed a night at Genting Highlands.. Was freezing cold .... The whole day..
Stupid bad weather had to befall on us!! Was so misty!!

Thus, we DID NOT get to ride the rides at the outdoor theme park!
*curses* and we spent the whole day shopping... OMG which is NOT a very good idea... coz... knowing us.... .....we bought alot!!!

and guess what we discover when we woke da next day??
YA! SIckening mist is gone and we HAD blue skies with nice fluffy cotton clouds!!
HOW SUAY can we be??!!!

seriously... really seriously.... ARgh~~~!!!

anyway ... we manage to be happy with our buys.. and we swear.. next year we're coming back.. FOR The theme park!!!

We love out rooms!! we Have BATHTUBS!!! lol... the rooms we have in genting were pretty essential spaced enuff for 2 persons...
kekeke.... and HUGE mirrors!!! We have a full view of da pool from our window!!
hahaha.. pretty nice~!

we even had a chance to soak and hang out at da pool and jaccuzi....

we took public transport ard KL... and walk the whole street of Bukit Bintang!!
had late nite suppers and soak in the bazzar at Pertaling Street aka Chinatown~ bargain and haggled with the vendors... ate chennai at an indian shop near our hotel for breakfast... scruffed down plates of tempting desserts at the hotel cafe...walk down to times square... and walked back up to hotel from Sungei Wang plaza.... smelled the aroma of food cooking along Jalan Alor... hurdle around a small round table for mahjong sessions... and KO-ed in the coach back to sg..

so yeah.. it was pretty much fun and joy and laughter and rushing ard.. but i love u gers..... thanks so much!!
