GRADUATING!!
yes yes!!!Finally after all d stress I'll been thru for the pass 2 months!! I pass all my subs and my most important sub!! I pass my external and internal assessment! Our class has all d positive comments!!! wohoo!!! We are THE BEST CLASS!!! CD 06C!!! thxs pple!! thxs Joe!! Our ever dearest class rep!!....Couldn't help but make a leap of joy in my heart ( hey I was in the LT.. dun wanna look like some crazy fella) !! yippee!! Grad show's on May 14-16.... gonna miss my unified class....*sniff*
Stupid people do exist afterall
just like 5mins ago... I just ended a net conversation with a certian guy friend of my..it provided entertainment for Sharon and me smehow... and shows just what some pple say to cover up their own butts when they have nothing else to say...
I mean... when u know u said smething stupid.. just admit it.. u dun have to go ard trying to put others down and making it seems as if u're smart.. coz U'RE NOT! LAMERS! and dis friend had to cheek to hurl negative remarks about my skills and talent when he himself knows shit....
the whole conversation started out with the subject of getting a freelancer for his other friend, and I somehow ask if he wants me to take up the job (i'm majoring in Communication Design) and in some part of the conversation.. it goes something like this:
me: I asking ard nw lar.. liew.... u want me to take it up izzit?
cfrm ah? oni static 10pages..
den do le give him.. he go upload himself ah?
guy:yar
cos he ownself kiasu already paid and bought the domain liao
guy:anyway.. ur design cant meet his requirement
me: why
guy: ur design is not the professional design lar..
face it..
me: har.... u seen b4 meh?
anyway..want good stuffs... u pay good stuffs.. reality of the world
wat u seen is yr 2 stuffs.. liew.....................nvr update anyhw say
and den it carrys on.... something abt asking him to do it himself since he said I wasn't "good" enough. But.... he said he hasn't got the time to do....
and being quite pissed I said to him:
anyway I dun tink u can do too...
u may have technical skills but no design concepts and exposure..
and know wat? he said this: design concept got..
just tat I got trouble exporting it out of my brain into the computer 9 pls note that dis friend is not in mt arts school neither is he into arts and design or had any prior formal lectures on the design concepts in the design industry)... and further that he even asked if drawing can be taught in a shortcut course!!
and and,,, tok abt having design exposure.. I mention something abt corporate ID.. he has d cheek to ask me to define corporate ID.............................wtf...............
and he even said something like..."ohh.btw.... I was d one who rejected all d designs given by another freelancer"..trying to sound smart? yea I tot so.........
............conversation lasted and he covered his own arse by trying to get me down by saying things abt me..(if I pasted everytime he tried to cover up..it will be pretty darn long..so yea..give u guys a brief idea) but hey I breeze thru' it.. in d end... I won....and more like i put him down indirectly.......and he changed d topic of the conversation......
Sharon shld know the details.. I bet she must be rolling ard on d floor clasping her stomach and laughing while I was complaining to her abt this whole "design exposure" incident!
