oooo.. just had SLS bbq/gathering yesterday...

daph & her son, Darryl. Daph LOOKS SO YOUNG!!!! u can never imagine she has a son! together they look like sister and brother!! really.... gosh~... how i wish i could maintain my looks till 10-20yrs later... like her..
Rynna's sis, Racheal. looks abit like olaf. And she tans alot!.. another tanning kaki.. but den after i go tan with her i shy.. she so slim whilst i'm so chunky and big.. i'll look even bigger next to her....=

I made potato salads for this bbq!! FIRST time i made potato salad! hahha.. and they said it was good.. o0o0o0o0o0o00ooo... experiment passed!! hahahahahaha..
i spent only 2 hrs doing it.. *grinz*
I woke up at 3... got everything done at 5pm... fast hor... coz BB helped ..dats why~.... he helped to cut the potatoes..
we ate, we toked, kevlar dropped alot of things, we drank and we laughed.

A little shopping can't hurt... ...can it?
Damn right it does!! It hurts my credit cards and my bank account!! *sulks*
curses those beautiful clothes.... curses those beautiful shoes... curses those cheap online USA stores....
yayaya... i've been spreeing and shopping again altho' i'm OFFICIALLY without a steady income of money streaming in.... Someone one shake me awake pls... *sighing & sulking more*
right... I Finally got myself a nice pair of black boots!! Gorgeous i tell ya!
aren't they just perfect? Black Suede Boots. They fit me prefectly too even tho' i order it online from OLD Navy! wahahahahaha! and everybody seems to be lemming for 'erm after i ordered it in a spree! too bad! OOS now!!!
Collected this pair of babies at PS for the usual SLS joint collection of sprees & distribution of my FIRST ever spree i conducted amidst nervous, anxiety and frustration... now i admire those experienced spree organizers... *kowtow*
So we met... we ate dinner at this jap resturant just next to PS. CHeap nice food! The food deserved a second visiting! But waiters can be very blur.. Well they look blur to me ..everyone of of them..
Went for ice-cream at swensen's later on.. cause of Rynna la.... ice-cream buffet.. and by the time we had out dinner.. the ice-cream shop would most likely be closed (weekdays early timing. With the lemming for ice-cream already in us,we had to make do with ice-creams at swensen's in which a joke was attached to it.. that Darren would foot the bill and treat us...
Darren's a new fren..Rynna's fren who joined us for dinner.. Such a nice guy..(i'm not saying this just coz u're reading okie!!) easy to tok to and we joked alot..AND he ACTUALLY really foot the bill for our ice-creams.. It was meant to be a joke man!!! gosh~ .. he's pretty gentlemenly with it..okie so next time it's either of our turns for an ice-cream treat... and.. ooo... gossip...
i happen to say... since he dun wanna accept our money for da ice-creams.. i was saying something along the lines of.. "den how we pay u back.. i pay u back by giving u rynna okie???" There was an instead "okok! can!" (0_o)(o_0)... suspicious ain't it?!

Wore it(the boots) out today... Couldn't find a long pair of socks to wear with it.. so i wore an ankled one...and decided to pay a new pair of long one and change straight away. Got myself a nice blue striped socks from FOX women.. only $6! and comfy!! ooo...

It's a chronicle of books ya see...(Click here) The one being made into a movie is Chronicle 2: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.
I got hold of this series of books in secondary school, in our very own library.
Got me hooked and soon i was reading all of it... Which till recently, when i heard that this was been made into a movie.. i bought the book which had all the chronicles rolled into a huge thick book and started reading again.. (which eventually got me hooked back on reading again..) This book isn't like Harry Potter's story line..which just grows longer and more detail... This is more of a simple, well placed story.
And which reminds me... i can never be safe browsing in a good bookstore.. Think i can't never spend on anything in a boring bookstore?! WRONG!!!!! and who says bookstores are boring?!..tsk tsk...
just buying the Narnia book alone.. i bought 2 other magazines.. One PLAY and one ISH. Due to money constraints, only 3 items were bought.. which was pretty much too little for me... imagine if i could spend.. imagine if it was Kinokuniya with PAGE ONE section or Borders............... OMG!.. u'll see a stack of mags and books more likely... I'm a closet geek. Period. =D

item missing was Swen's bag.. which.. i paid for caused i promised to get him a nicer looking sling bag as a gift since i was complaining about his variety of bags to go with his outfits..
and we went back to eat seafood dinner again! yummy yum yum!!!
Another laughter filled event... kekeke... These few people never fail to crack me up... I dun know how... i Dun know why... they just do.... =)

Seems like social life has been climbing it's way back to me faster than I thought it would be!
Monday...
went out with Alex
Went town to search/browse for a formal shirt to go with his suit for his Friday's dinner. Walked in to practically every store that carries a proper shirt. From taka all da way to far east. Am very Good today! I spent almost nothing... except for a doughnut from the oh so delicious doughnut store at Taka..
Tuesday...
Went for an impromptu shopping outing with Sharon.
Hopped down to far east too~ went from basement to top floor.. and I bought a lovely green tanktop for only $10!! I also got a bunch of black plastic beads necklaces. Sharon brought me around far east to all those vintage shops which are really stocked with lovely clothes! So pretty!! I wouldn't have actually stepped into some of those shops if it weren't for Sharon... and I didn't knew there were toy shops on the upper lvl if she hadn't brought me there... omg.. ya I sound like sound country bumpkin rite... *smack self on forehead*..
from far east we traveled down to wisma isetan and headed over to Anna sui's counter. She wanted to get this lomo cam from anna sui. Spend like $100 and get a lomo cam free...for $150, get d lomo cam and a pouch free! (love the pouch!) so she was trying to get this cam for her bf.. (it's limited edition mind u~..).. OH! have u tried the scent of Anna Sui's Wish perfume? It's really nice!
so it goes like dis:
She wanted to get the lomo cam..but doesn't want to get a big bottle of da perfume..so she asks if I wanted anything.. and since she wanted to search for a good concealer, she tried the anna sui's concealer.. and asks if I would like anything.. she I could help her top it up to a $100 if she gets the medium bottle. So I did..
I tired the blusher.. and when I saw the powder puff kind with the blusher I just went bonkers... It's the soft furry type of powder puff. So I told Shar I'll get the blusher.. but I saw the pouch and I went.. "Can I have the pouch??"..and the SA told us we had to spend 150.. to get both the lomo and the pouch. (haiyah....how to spend so much on makeup??!!!)The SA was really nice.. she actually let us try everything. =D we left later on .. still thinking abt the deal, all the way to taka..
We went to taka's kose and bobbi brown's counter and on da way got down to this little corner where they sell the anna sui's perfume too.. different promo but dun have makeup pdts!! They don't have a anna sui's counter... how terrible..!
sooo.....we went back to wisma's isetan.. and cause I suddenly remembered I wanted to get Anna sui's Shimmering powder too... so ta-da... we have our $100 deal right?..
nooo... hahhaa... guess what.. my shimmering powder cost $62 & my blusher cost $37 which already sums up to $99...Sa said ..$1 difference is okie...SO.. I got my very own LOMOGraphy camera now!! Sharon got a big bottle in da end which is aready entitled to the LOMO cam.. hahaha..so we each got ourselves a lomo cam!
and did I mention I absolutely love Anna Sui's image, packaging and cases?! How can u not like such nice intricate designs?!

Went for a cut and FINALLy dyed my hair at Supercuts at Far east (ya i know.. again..)
Wasn'y suppose to dye as i was still deciding on colour... but upon looking at the colour chart and found one gorgeous colour~.. off i went... to dye my hair.. spent 4 hrs in da salon.. wash/rinse my hair 6 times... and had at one time.. 3 persons attending to me, all at the same time..
Will get better pixs of it soon...
Friday...
Met up with Celester for dinner at sakae sushi at Wheelock. LONG Q!! very long.. service staff are lacking in number definately... so slow..
it was great.. gossiping and all.. hahhaa...

look as if i had eyeliner on rite?? nope.. none... only mascara ..Don't i look lovely?! haha the power of angle shots and lights..
celester is getting darker than me!!! gosh!! ..and his face definately looks better.. unlike me... i have been ill-treating my face~..bleah~ maybe time to invest in some good pdts... like the pdts shar intro to me.. bah... the only part i hate abt not working is.. THE MONEY!

Another less single man & woman
Attended a wedding on saturday night.
Almost got a wardrobe emergency~... i sorta realized i look damn fat in the supposely skirt which i'm gonna convert into a dress outfit.. i raided my wardrobe and tried one 2-3 other dresses... which look even worse for the look i was hoping for.. But... in da end i still stuck onto my dress/skirt and added a long ribbon to go ard my waist so i would look slimmer. Who cares i look preggy... damn... it's the boho look! ... to think i was so worried abt my bf's outfit that i forgotten to trial & error mine...
The wedding of Sherman & Shermaine. How cool right.. both almost exactly the same names.... hahahaa....
Sherman's a new friend.. well kinda... known his thru TCS.. and he's not a chevy driver.. but rather an alfa romeo driver, which he has 2.. (rich bugger... ) the first time when we met was when he invited us to his new hse down at pasir ris for a mini hse warming. His house is gorgeous i tell u! dark walls and wallpapered! omg!! and the most lovely looking bed i've see!!! aaaahh!!! i love his room! i love da walls!!! gosh.... very chic..
ya.. so ever since dat day.. we sorta click... thru' msn and his ever so often smses.. =) yup.. and then he invited me to his wedding dinner. Only me & Lynn (chevy1) at meritus mandarin.. nice atmosphere the ballrooom was..

And this guy.. very nice idea he has.. he actually had his wedding pixs displayed ala art exhibition style. he had them blown up into a3 sizes or bigger and had them hung ard and placed ard the reception instead of the dangy typical portfolio usually placed on a table.

We got these.. for us!
A small off-white bear & chocolates. It is sitting in a bowl of petals meant for throwing at the couple as they walk down the path to the stage. This is like alternate sitting one bear then a small bag of chocolates then a bear, etc.. because my bf was there, we took one bear and one chocolate, lynn got the bear... How i wish wedding dinners would have both together... consistency.. hmm...
the food was good...the first dish itself had roast pig.. Plus points on my side!! Oh! imagine this.. we had CHICKEN RICE as one of the dishes served!!! It was the Chatterbox's Chicken Rice!! hahaha!! the whole table was exclaiming that it was a first for them to attend a wedding dinner with chicken rice as part of the dishes.. Really! i'm not kidding!!! they had a big plate of chicken and a bowl of rice which was served to everyone at the table! hahaha!
yeah.. the event ended ard 11ish... and lynn drove us home...

His house is gorgeous i tell u! dark walls and wallpapered! omg!! and the most lovely looking bed i've see!!! aaaahh!!! i love his room! i love da walls!!! gosh.... very chic..
ya.. so ever since dat day.. we sorta click... thru' msn and his ever so often smses.. =) yup.. and then he invited me to his wedding dinner. Only me & Lynn (chevy1) at meritus mandarin.. nice atmosphere the ballrooom was..

And this guy.. very nice idea he has.. he actually had his wedding pixs displayed ala art exhibition style. he had them blown up into a3 sizes or bigger and had them hung ard and placed ard the reception instead of the dangy typical portfolio usually placed on a table.

We got these.. for us!
A small off-white bear & chocolates. It is sitting in a bowl of petals meant for throwing at the couple as they walk down the path to the stage. This is like alternate sitting one bear then a small bag of chocolates then a bear, etc.. because my bf was there, we took one bear and one chocolate, lynn got the bear... How i wish wedding dinners would have both together... consistency.. hmm...
the food was good...the first dish itself had roast pig.. Plus points on my side!! Oh! imagine this.. we had CHICKEN RICE as one of the dishes served!!! It was the Chatterbox's Chicken Rice!! hahaha!! the whole table was exclaiming that it was a first for them to attend a wedding dinner with chicken rice as part of the dishes.. Really! i'm not kidding!!! they had a big plate of chicken and a bowl of rice which was served to everyone at the table! hahaha!
yeah.. the event ended ard 11ish... and lynn drove us home...

New Zouk
Hmmm... new zouk...
had a chance to go down zouk yesterday.
yaya i knw.. 2 clubbing events within 3 days.. well, can't help it.. practically a public holidays week..
I got all dressed up (in heels mind u).. to go down Velvet with Sherman and his frens for a night out and drinking/chilling session.
But as we parked the car and got to gorund lvl.. OMG!! freaking long Q!! the Q to Velvet was all the way to the slope to the carpark (which was closed for obvious reasons) OMG OMG!! MASSIVE TURNOUT! freakingly scary too... how to go in to the club like dat?! sigh~...
Tcs pple came down to zouk too... so sherman left with his other frens to some other pubs/clubs while i stayed on with the tcs pple hoping that we can get in... in which we didn't till like after 12am.... phuture is FULL hse!!! shucks!
we sat at wine bar and drank and played drinking games while waiting to go in... hahaha... very fun and funny pple Damien's frens... oooo... i tried a new drink, watermelon martini! DAMN NICE!! now i'm addicted to it... sweet .. i likkeee.....
managed to get in....so many pple... it is body against body~.. and we even try to squeeze into the dancefloor.. madness...
so we squeeae here and there and manage to stayed just outside the restrooms area... where the sapce is ample enuff... not very squeezy.. just nice enuff to breathe and dance..
new zouk? not much new tho'.. just those ugly hideous things hanging from the ceiling has been taken off.. a second lvl near the big screen has been added and the restrooms are different with a communial fountain like sink.
I love phuture tho'! looks so much more modern now.... and neat....
but still packed with a gazillion pple... as always...

Halloween at Newsroom Bar
yup.
I went partying at newsroom bar with USSS gang and weiting & uncle.
Got there approx. 10ishpm.. along the way i saw a bunch of pple drressed in costumes.. sigh.. i wasn't dressed in one.. which i wished i was..
Never had attended a fully dressed party on halloween.. hee'
If i could dress up as one .. i probably be dressed up as a cat or a devil.. hahaahaha........ predictable rite.. ah well... i dun wnana be all sweating with body paint dripping down since when i club i dance alot which inturn churns out alot of sweat and even worse in a crowded place.. hahhahhaa
so yes ..we attended a non-costume bash at newsroom bar. Enjoy the pixs... =)
partied till all left and left only me & weiting & uncle & his bunch of guy frens.. which was like 4am?? went for prata at thomson... got home at 6am..and KO-ed after i showered..... really tired...
and i injured my toe kicking on a metal piece in Uncle's car... ha..
